Horizon Snow Policy: We follow Administrative Offices regarding closure, late openings and early release. For example- If Administrative offices are closed, Horizon will be closed.
If Administrative Offices opens on time and MCPS has a delay, Horizon will open on time.

In cases of extreme weather, Horizon may decide to close early or to close even when Administrative offices are open. If these decisions are made, every parent will be contacted via phone and/or email. Parents will be given sufficient notice for pick-up.
Unfortunately, if your Horizon is closed and the other Horizon Centers are open, the other Centers cannot accommodate your child.
